摘要Abstract:深入学习贯彻习近平总书记有关重要论述,分析学术研究与写作问题,简要介绍《管理世界》及有关改革举措。
报告人简介Biography:管理世界杂志社社长,研究员,博士研究生导师。全国新闻出版行业领军人才,历任国务院发展研究中心技术经济研究部副部长、管理世界杂志社总编辑。主要从事公共政策评估、营商环境评价、技术经济、创新创业等领域的研究工作,完成系列重要课题研究、调研报告和重要文稿,参与国家许多重要战略、规划和政策的研究与起草工作,出版多部学术著作,多次获得党和国家领导人批示。

题目Title:华为人力资源管理的基本假设
报告人Speaker:黄卫伟
摘要Abstract:中国人民大学商学院教授,曾任管理科学与工程系主任,主要研究领域:生产与运营管理,创业管理,管理政策。从1996年4月起受聘担任华为技术有限公司高级管理顾问至今,亲身参与华为公司的管理变革,曾作为执笔人参与《华为公司基本法》的起草,主编和正式出版了《走出混沌》、《以奋斗者为本:华为公司人力资源管理纲要》,《以客户为中心:华为公司业务管理纲要》,《价值为纲,华为公司财经管理纲要》。以及出版《不对称竞争》,《管理政策》和发表“生意模式与实现方式”等多部专著和论文。

题目Title: Why Qualitative Research Is So Hard and What To Do About It
报告人Speaker: Pratima (Tima) Bansal
摘要Abstract: In the last two decades, qualitative research has gained traction in management and organization journals and has become among the most impactful of all research approaches. Yet, conducting and publishing qualitative research is not for the faint of heart. It can easily take a decade from the inception of an idea to the publication of the paper. This is why it is important to know the key decision points and what to do about them when embarking on a qualitative research project.
In this presentation, I will tackle three topics:
• Why is qualitative research so hard?
• Key decision points in conducting qualitative research
• Critical success factors for publication
You will leave this research presentation with deeper insights into the challenges in qualitative research and what you can do about it, which will allow you to enter the research project with your eyes wide open. This doesn’t mean that you will necessarily accelerate the process, but at least you will understand why it is taking you so long. I hope to leave you with greater appreciation of qualitative research and what it can add to management theory and practice.
报告人简介Biography: Pratima (Tima) Bansal is a Professor and Canada Research Chair in Business Sustainability at the Ivey Business School at Western University (Ontario). She holds honorary doctorates from the University of Hamburg and University of Montreal. She is also affiliated with the University of Cambridge and Monash University.
She founded the Network for Business Sustainability (nbs.net) and Ivey’s Centre for Building Sustainable Value, each of which she led for over 15 years. She also founded and continues to lead Innovation North. All of these efforts aim to strengthen research and its ties with practice. She researches the nexus of time (short-termism), space (globalization) and scale (size) in business strategy, in order to advance sustainable development. She has been researching business sustainability since she completed her doctorate in 1996 at the University of Oxford.
Dr. Bansal has published over 50 peer-reviewed academic journal articles and 2 books on Business and the Natural Environment. She served as a Deputy Editor (2016-2019), handling the qualitative research portfolio, and as an Associate Editor (2010-2013) for the Academy of Management Journal. In total, she handled over 400 manuscripts. She has also sat previously on 10 editorial review boards, including the Academy of Management Review and Strategic Management Journal. She writes a column for Forbes.com and her research has been cited in The Wall Street Journal, The National Post, Globe and Mail and The Independent.

题目Title: Parting the Curtain on Grounded Theory
报告人Speaker: Glen Kreiner
摘要Abstract: The goal of this presentation is to “part the curtain” on how grounded theory is done. My approach will be to examine the entire process of one research study (our 2009 Academy of Management Journal article on work-family dynamics), including developing the research question, collecting/analyzing data, building theory, writing results, and ensuring rigor. By going deep in analysing one particular grounded theory project, I hope to show a coherent process for conducting grounded theory.
报告人简介Biography: Professor Glen Kreiner is the L.S. Skaggs Presidential Chair in Business Ethics at the University of Utah. He also serves at the Management Department Chair. He received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from Arizona State University. He serves on multiple editorial boards and has published in most of the management field’s top journals. His research areas include identity (organizational, professional, and work-related), ethics, dirty work, stigma, work-family issues, mindfulness, and workers with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Professor Kreiner is currently studying mental health stigma. Professor Kreiner has published conceptual, quantitative, and qualitative work, with a special emphasis on using grounded theory. His work has been reported on by local, national, and international news outlets, and he has won several prestigious awards for his research from the Academy of Management, the Society of Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and the World at Work Association. His “non-work role identities” include father, husband, gardener, theatregoer, and traveler.

题目Title:如何在过程研究范式下深化机制解释?

摘要Abstract:不论是以因素理论化为主导的定量研究,还是艾森哈特推崇的多案例研究,或者诠释主义导向的扎根理论研究,都普遍忽视了动态变化现象所蕴涵的时间性。这为过程研究范式的发展留下了广阔的空间和理论创新的机会。在本工作坊中,将通过如下四方面内容的介绍与研讨,希望能为与会者增扩过程理论化的深度和想象空间提供启迪。
1. 过程研究范式的兴起:因素模型 → 过程模型
2. 机制解释的不同视角与深度:黑箱 → 灰箱 → 白箱
3. 时序分区分析策略下的过程研究:阶段内 * 阶段间
4. 与本体论和认识论配适的研究方法论:弱过程 → 强过程
报告人简介Biography:王凤彬,中国人民大学商学院教授,擅长于案例研究和定性比较分析(QCA)。曾主持12项国家级和部委级科研课题,在《管理世界》《南开管理评论》《中国工业经济》等国内经济管理领域权威期刊发表八十余篇论文及数篇英文论文,出版论著、译著、教材二十余部。获教育部普通高等院校人文社会科学研究成果奖、北京市哲学社会科学优秀科研成果奖、霍英东教育基金会青年教师基金奖、首届中国案例建设十佳“示范案例研究”成果各1项,李占祥管理哲学优秀论文奖、蒋一苇企业发展与改革学术基金论文奖和全国百篇优秀教学案例各2项,中国企业管理案例论坛最佳论文奖6项。
